The MABC recognized Littlefield for his long-standing commitment to the sport for his Educaton, Longevity, Character, Service, and Excellence on the court. Dwight coach the boys program at Valley High School in Bingham for 31 years, compiling a win/loss record on 471-125, including a record six consecutive state championships. His teams won 101 straight games from 1997-2002. He was inducted into the New Englan Basketball Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015. Dwight's daughter Christy and granddaughter Holly accepted the award on his behalf.
John Donato was the girls Wooden recipient. He was inducted into the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019 and the Maine Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. As a girls basketball coach, John won 12 Eastern Maine Championships and 5 state championships. He amassed 563 wins during a fifty year career. John and his wife, Kelly are the proud grandparents of 3 beautiful grandchildren.
The Spirit of the Game Awards are given each year to individuals who embody the spirit of the sport, exemplify sportsmanship, and have shown an ability to overcome obstacles and boundaries, and inspire his/her teammates and coaching staff. Henry, who is a 4-year member of the Dirigo basketball program, was diagnose with Type 1 Diabetes when he was in the eigth grade. Playing basketball was a way for Henry get added exercise to help deal with his diabetes. He progressed from being a bench player on the jv team his freshman year, to a rotation player on the varsity squad his senior year. During that time he has dealt with countless hurdles surrounding his Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis and has handled them all with perserverance and humor. A crowd favorite, Henry always is suporting his teammates with a smile on his face.
Brynne, who was diagnosed with stage 3A Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2024, later was diagnosed with a heart condition known as pre-exictation Wolf Parkinson's White Syndrome which required an ablation of the heart. This proceedure had to be postponed until after she had completed all of her cancer treatments. During this time, she stayed involved in school and basketball, participating in various drills as a passer, rebounder, or foul shooter. She had heart surgery in August and returned to sports unrestricted. She has since earned the title of "Captain" and the role of sixth man. Her dedication to basketball and her teammates has remained unwavering through her medical journey. To see her playing again is truly inspiring.
Churchill, who has been in integral part of the organization and planning of McDonalds All Star Weekend, is a Bangor businessman who has over 30 years of sports broadcasting. Since beginning his broadcasting career at the Sports Zone (AM620) in the mid-90s, Jim later became the voice of University of Maine Baseball since 2000. Additionally, he has provided both play-by-play and color commentary on UMaine Basketball radio broadcasts since 2007. He has also been the sideline reporter for UMaine Football radio and in 2018 became the play-by-play voice for University of Maine Football television broadcasts.

Luceo is a company that can supply us with a variety online coaching services. As of now, if you have paid your membership you will be receiving an invite to activate your account with them. On Dec. 3 you should be able to access the NHSBCA PLAYBOOK app. This app will allow you to put all your information in printed form to share with players. If you join as a team, you and 5 other coaches can have access to all of the materials they offer.
